As a dedicated LEGO collector and Star Wars fan, I was beyond excited to get my hands on the LEGO Star Wars The Clone Wars Coruscant Guard Gunship. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! This buildable toy is perfect for action play and recreating epic battles from the show. Plus, with 1,083 pieces, it kept me busy for hours. Trust me, even my cat was impressed by my building skills.
I was especially impressed with the attention to detail in this set. The 5 included minifigures – Chancellor Palpatine, Commander Fox, 2 Coruscant Guards, and Padmé Amidala – are spot on and add so much to the overall play experience. And speaking of play experience, this gunship is designed for aerial battles with its 2 pilot cockpits, stud shooters, adjustable cannons, and handle for easy flying. I may or may not have made sound effects while playing with it (no judgement please).
But perhaps my favorite part about this set is the space inside for troopers and equipment. The rear hatch pulls down and the side slides open to reveal a cabin where you can store all your clone shock troopers and their gear. It’s like having your own mini army in a compact gunship! This would make an amazing gift for any Star Wars fan (or just keep it for yourself because let’s be real here).
